Swimming Sports

Today i was writing about swimming sports.
I found it hard to write this on my writing book.
I found it easy to type it up on my chromebook.
Next time i will add some more sentences in my paragraphs.

Splash, splash as i quickly swam across the pool. Yesterday, the seniors went to the Enterprise pool for the swimming events. I quickly changed into my togs and waited for my first race to begin. Finally, after a while, I nervously stood on the starting block and waited for the whistle to beep. Beep! We all splashed into the pool and I tried not to do a belly flop. I dived courageously into the pool and I could smell the strong chlorine.

On my second race I felt really confident because my freestyle race was pretty good. I could see the year three and four kids doing backstroke. Finally, after a while of standing, it was the for the year six. Once again, I jumped in frantically and started doing my backstroke. When I was swimming I could see the white roof in front me and I also could hear lots of splashing.

I sat down on the stage and waited for my final race. I stood up for my final race and when Mrs A said “ On your marks, get set, beep! We jumped in and I went into my breaststroke mode. I was using all my strength so I could come second or third. The race started and I was off to a good start but in the middle it got harder because I lost my breath. Instead I just kept going until I finished and guess what I had come third.

I was relieved after all those races. I sat down on the stage and watched the relays. There was lots and lots of cheering and splashing. There were four houses competing in the relay. The houses were yellow house, green house, blue house and red house. Yellow house came first and blue house came second.

After all the races, I was exhausted. All I wanted to do was change my clothes because I was very cold. The water was crystal clear when everybody came out of the pool. THE END.
